Whether you’re buying firewood for the first time or you’re a regular log burner owner, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about our premium kiln-dried hardwood logs, local delivery service and ordering process. Yes. Our premium hardwood logs are kiln dried for 12–14 days at a controlled temperature of 55°C, producing a moisture content below 15%. This makes them easy to light, cleaner burning and ready to use as soon as they’re delivered.

Our logs are predominately Oak and Ash hardwood, consistently cut to approximately 8 inches, kiln dried and screened to remove loose bark and debris. This provides a hotter, longer-lasting burn with less smoke, less mess and more usable firewood.

We supply premium hardwood logs, primarily Oak and Ash. Unlike softwood, hardwood is denser, burns for longer, produces a higher heat output and creates a clean, consistent burn, making it an excellent choice for home heating.

Yes. Every load is kiln dried, moisture tested and delivered ready to burn immediately.

Yes unlike many other suppliers who simply leave bulk logs on your drive for you to maul and move yourself. Here at Jake’s logs we are different, we have got all the trollies and equipment to move your heavy bags of logs exactly where you require them offering a totally stress free and easy service.

Yes. We offer free local delivery on qualifying orders across Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and surrounding areas. Delivery distance depends on the package you choose.

Yes. Collection is available by request from Werrington, Stoke-on-Trent (ST9 0DT). Please get in touch to order and arrange a convenient collection time.
