Jake’s Logs was founded by Jake Darley after experiencing the frustration of poor-quality firewood firsthand. While running his mobile pizza catering business, The Copper Kiln Pizza Co., Jake struggled to source logs that could consistently deliver the heat and performance required for wood-fired cooking. After speaking with local chimney sweeps and learning how poor-quality firewood contributes to excessive soot, creosote build-up and damage to flue systems, he decided to create a firewood business focused on quality, reliability and a better customer experience.
